Ranking System

Introduction:
We want to motivate old members by giving them recognition of their effort in the past, by awarding them with ranks to show their high dedication.
Below you will find 4 ranks, scaling from “Recruit” up to “Elder”. These contain detailed description on what the rank means and how you can use it.
The Ranking System will help us to make a rational distribution of raid spots. A balanced raid formed by players with high knowledge of tactics, good gear, good skill, etc, allows us to invite the players that have not such experience and gear while still keeping the raid safe and smooth. We want the guild to be a friendly place for everyone but without damaging our high performance.
We hope that you will be satisfied with this system and your rank given.
1.) Recruit
A basic understanding of English, written and spoken.
Ventrilo installed and working in raids, no micro is required but strongly suggested.
No level requirement, all the non level 80 players will be recruits.
Recruit status will last at least 2 weeks and until the player fulfills the Member rank requirements or is rejected.
Good attitude
Loot:
Can loot on T2 raids only if no higher ranking member needs the item. Considering the high amount of items wasted usually this is not expected to be a major issue for the recruit, but we need to protect guild members from the typical 1-raid player that comes to 1 raid, gets an item and then leaves guild/game.
DKPs will be earned normally as any other raid member, when the recruit status is over they will have all the dkps earned in that raiding period minus the value of the items looted.
On T1 is allowed to loot normally as any other player.
Raid spots:
2 raid spots are reserved for Recruits.
If the raid is not full, it is up to the raid leader to invite a Recruit that is not enough geared as a special circumstance, but they can be switched by any other reinforcement if needed.
A Recruit is not allowed to participate in PUG raids outside the guild. He is expected to participate in our T1 raids to check the play skill, attitude, get gear, etc.
Alts:
Alts are allowed to join the guild as soon as he/she fills the info on the forum. They are not allowed on raids, unless his main gets bound by participating in our guild activities (a recruit needs to get gear and DKP for his main but not for alts).
Special:
Recruits can be promoted to Member rank without meeting all the requirements if they show a good participation, dedication, etc. – for example if they are unlucky on drops but still deserve a Member rank.
2.) Member
At least 2 weeks in the guild.
At least 30 DKPs earned by his main character.
At least 4 pieces of epic gear (T1 or greater) and no green gear on his main character.
At least level 80 on his main.
No minimum participation required, you can be a full member no matter how much time you can play.
You are allowed to participate in PUG raids as long as you follow the PUG rules .
Loot:
Can loot and earn DKP normally as any other member.
Raid spots:
8 raid spots are reserved for Members.

Can ask for any blue item drop in raid or in the guild bank that he/she may need.
Can ask for Crafting recipes in T2 but only after veterans.
Is free to loot as any other member any crafting recipe of T1 raids.

Non permanent position, if dedication to the guild is reduced or another guild members get better merits, this position can be lost.
No more than 3 Veterans of each class and no more than 25 in total.
Good behavior is a requirements, problems and warnings earned in the near past may prevent a player to become a veteran at officer’s discretion, until the issues that created the problem are fully fixed.
Loot:

Raid spots:
14 raid spots are reserved for Veterans.

When joined with the alt of choice, the dkp earned are for that character. If asked by the raid leader to switch to another character, the player can choose which character earns the dkps of that raid.
